Xperia S gets the ICS update

Sony has announced Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Xperia S. You can get new features ,such as an all new Sony media experience with the new WALKMAN application, the Album application and the Movies application, with this update Also, you get a whole new reange resizable widgets which can help you to improve personalization. Another feature that has been added is improved control of the user’s mobile data consumption. The latest available software is 6.1.A.0.452 and the release date was 2012-06-20.




It is important to know that Sony have also mentioned, “You may already have the latest software, depending on the date of purchase. Software updates are released at different times depending on operator and country. Therefore, we cannot give you an exact date for when a specific update will be available for your phone.” So, you might just have to wait a little longer for your phone to get the latest update.
