How to open two VLC at the same time

VLC media player by default allows only one instance to run at a time. Now to run VLC together, follow these steps:

• Open VLC. Go to Tools -> Preferences (Hotkey - Ctrl+P).

                               

• Now select 'All' from the show settings tab ,located at the bottom left corner (see the image below)

                                

• Select Advanced. Now Under Performance Options, remove the tick from the One Instance at a time option.(see the image above)
• Click Save and you are ready to open two VLC at the same time.
