Motorola launches Defy XT and Defy Mini


Motorola has launched the new smartphones Defy XT and Defy Mini. These smartphones are water-resistant, dust-proof and scratch-resistant. Both smartphones come with Corning Gorilla Glass touchscreens, and just like the Defy Plus, both devices run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The Defy XT, which is slightly on the higher-end, than the Mini embeds a 3.7-inch touchscreen. On the other hand, the Dual-SIM Defy Mini sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen. The Motorola Defy XT is available for   16,190. The Motorola Defy Mini will begin retailing from June 20 for   11,490.

Motorola adds that its MotoSwitch user interface is capable of learning the user behaviour. The user interface has been designed to learn the songs you like, people you talk to most and also the apps you use. It keeps a tab on all your preferences and stores them. The Defy Mini is powered by a 600MHz processor, while the Defy XT is fuelled by a 1GHz processor.
