Samsung has officially released its projector phone, Galaxy Beam, in India. The Galaxy Beam is available at Samsung India's e-store for Rs. 29,990. Samsung had announced its Galaxy Beam also known as the Galaxy Beam GT-I8530 at the Samsung Forum event held earlier this year. The device went up for pre-order in India earlier this month.
The Samsung projector phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. Right now there's no word on whether the device will be upgraded to the Ice Cream Sandwich or the latest Jelly Bean.
