Samsung decided to suspend the roll out of the Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S III in India. Samsung has provided a reason for the suspension of the rollout to a user of the Samsung Galaxy S III. A website has received an email from a user who was contacted by Samsung. The South Korean manufacturer told the user in an email that it had earlier released an update for the Samsung Galaxy S III, but suspended it due to some technical reasons. Samsung has not specified when the update will be available again.
This update was initially available for download over-the-air (OTA) or through Samsung’s Kies software. To update the firmware, all that the users of the S III had to do was head over to the phone’s settings, and check if it was available. The size of the update was 291MB.
