Nintendo just announced the Wii U Pro controller. It's aimed at the audience who prefers traditional gaming. In other words, Nintendo is looking to lure Sony and Microsoft fans while others wait painful years for their next-gen consoles to finally release. The above design does away with the giant tablet-style design, has no 6.2 inch screen aimed to distract you during intense gaming sessions.
No pricing was announced. In fact, Nintendo won’t be talking price at all during this year’s show.
The Wii U Pro is strictly optional and will not support games that require the Wii U GamePad's screen, but it's a great option for the more competitive gamers out there who like competing in Super Smash Bros. or want to stand a chance in multi-platform games like Call of Duty.
