Sony announces ICS updates for Tablet P

Sony has now announced ICS updates for the Tablet P . The Tablet S received the 4.0 update in April, and now owners of the Tablet P can update to Google's latest Android operating system as well. This update combines the features of Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) with unique new features and apps from Sony. Upgrade your Sony Tablet to experience a streamlined user interface with drag-and-drop folder creation, improved multi-tasking and browser. New Sony features include direct access to SD card, Small Apps and enhanced photo viewing options.

Like the Sony Tablet S, this 5.5-inch tablet has NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processor and a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options, include 4G and Wi-Fi. The Tablet P weighs in at 370g, making it one really light slate. Apart from this, it also features 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of in-built memory. A 2GB SD card is also bundled with this tablet for extra storage space. Frequently used functions are easy to reach with a new Sony-unique ‘Small Apps’ update.
