LG launches new Cinema 3D Smart TVs in India

LG has launched its latest range of Cinema 3D Smart TVs in India. These models were unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year. LG has introduced a number of innovations in these new Smart TVs. Firstly, the Bezel of the Smart TVs has been greatly reduced to around 1mm.

Another innovation comes in the field of 3D glass technology. The new CINEMA 3D glasses are now 20 percent lighter than their processors, making them the lightest 3D glasses out there in the market. These glasses also include a dual-play feature allowing gamers to see only their perspective in a two player scenario.


For audio, LG has upped the ante with technologies like 3D audio and 3D Sound Zooming, which generates 3D sound that is synchronized with the displayed 3D content.


These new CINEMA 3D Smart TVs will feature Intel’s Wi-Di technology for speedy link ups between the TV and the PC.


In terms of Smart TV functionality, LG’s Smart TV offers a variety of apps and premium content services,  including 3D World, where viewers can access a growing abundance of 3D content.


LG also equips these devices with its Magic Motion remote that has three enhanced modes – Pointing, Gesture & Wheel – allows users to easily control their Smart TVs.


The Cinema 3D Smart TV range is available in a variety of sizes between 32-inches to 72-inches in the price range of Rs. 55,000 to Rs. 7,00,000. The new series will be available in India from May 12 onwards.
