How to open two VLC at the same time

To open two VLC media players at the same time, follow these steps: 

• Open VLC. Go to Tools -> Preferences (Shortcut key - Ctrl + P)
• In the bottom left corner, you will see 'Show Settings' tab. Select 'All' ( see the image below)
• Choose the 'Advance; option from the menu at the left.( see the image below)

• Under the 'Performance Options', remove the tick from 'One instance when started from file'.( see the image above)
• Click Save and now you can open two VLCs at the same time
