Sony India has announced the launch of the Xperia Tipo in the country, the company's latest budget Android phone. The Tipo will be available in two versions – single SIM and dual SIM. The price of the single SIM version is Rs. 9,999, while the Tipo Dual (dual SIM version) is priced at Rs. 10,499.
Some of the key specs of the Xperia Tipo are:-
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 800MHz
- Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
- 3.2-inch display
- 1500mAh battery
- Expandable memory up to 32GB
- Box.net will offer free 50GB storage on the cloud
Additionally, Vodafone users will get 500MB free data usage on 3G for three months. The Tipo will be available in four colours – white, black, blue and red.
