Fujitsu launches Stylistic Q702 hybrid tablet in India for Rs 69,000

Fujitsu has introduced the Stylistic Q702 hybrid tablet in India aimed at the mobile business user. Fujitsu states that this hybrid tablet can be used as two-in-one replacement for a tablet and a notebook as it comes with a full-size notebook keyboard and an addition battery. The Stylistic Q702 is available in India for Rs 69,000 plus taxes.

The new Fujitsu hybrid tablet means no more juggling between a tablet PC and a notebook during the working day. The Stylistic Q702 converts into a notebook by attaching the optional keyboard.

Some of the key specs of the Stylistic Q702 are:-

  • Keyboard docking station featuring a 4-cell battery and expansion ports including LAN (RJ-45) and external display support (VGA)
  • LED backlit IPS anti-glare 11.6-inch HD dual digitiser multi-touch display optimised for both pen and touch input
  • USB 2.0 and 3.0, HDMI, SD/ SDHC expansion ports on the tablet
  • Optional 3G/ UMTS or 4G/ LTE mobile broadband support (support may vary by region)
  • Accelerometer, gyrometer, magnetometer and ambient light sensors
  • Front-facing and rear-facing webcams with dual microphones for video conferencing
  • Up to 256GB (non-FDE) and 128GB (Full Disk Encryption)
  • Intel HD Graphics 4000
  • Onboard 4GB DDR3

Fujitsu claims that the Stylistic Q702 is the perfect balance of mobility and productivity as it is designed to enable all-day working from anywhere without the need to connect to an external power supply because of the second battery in the keyboard. The brand claims that the screen is easy to use even in direct sunlight. It comes with an optional embedded support for 3G/ UMTS or 4G/ LTE mobile data. The tablet is protected by a lightweight but durable magnesium shell. Without the keyboard, the hybrid tablet weighs just 850g.

The hybrid tablet also comes with security features including a biometric fingerprint sensor, Computrace support, HDD and BIOS password protection, embedded Trusted Platform Module (TPM), Intel Anti-Theft Technology and a 3rd Generation Intel Core i3 or i5 processor with optional Intel vPro Technology.
