The most commonly used video cutters are either Aimersoft Video Cutter or Windows Movie Maker. How many of you guys know that VLC can also be used as a video cutter? Only a few might know it.Well it not exactly cuts the video, but it records that part of the video which is to be cut. After recording a VLC media file appears at My Videos in My Documents. This file is the video that you have cut. It is very simple to cut a video using VLC. To do that follow these steps :
- Firstly open the media file which you want to cut.
- Then click on view -> advance playlist option
- You will see that a bar below the timeline will appear.
- When the part which you want to cut comes, then press the record button
- Press this button again to stop recording
The recorded video will appear in My Videos. Thats how you use VLC as a video cutter...or may be a recorder.
