Assassin’s Creed III and Ghost Recon headed to the Vita

Assassins Creed III and what looks to be called Ghost Recon: Final Mission have been spotted on the market and are headed to the PlayStation Vita.

A user of NeoGAF posted that the two games were found on the sites of game retailers Zavvi and Game UK available for pre-order. Naturally, these listings have since been removed from their respective leak sites.

We already knew that Ubisoft was working on an Assassin’s Creed title for the Vita. What we weren’t sure of is if it was going to be the same as the console versions or a Vita franchise spin-off, such as what we saw with Uncharted: Golden Abyss or Resistance: Burning Skies. One thing is for certain: after playing Uncharted on the Vita, we’re extremely excited to use the Vita’s new control scheme to bounce around rooftops in Assassin’s Creed. Hopefully, Ubisoft doesn’t disappoint.

Both of these large scale franchise titles would be great for the Vita. The biggest knock on the powerful little portable thus far has been its lack of solid games. While that can of course be argued, adding Assassin’s Creed III and Ghost Recon: Final Mission will be sure to sway some opinions.
