How to create a new partition in Windows

In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to create a new partition in your hard disk. You can create a new partition when you are formatting for PC or installing a new Operating System ( like Windows ). But if you have forgotten at that time, then follow these steps:

• Click on Start -> Run. Then type compmgmt.msc /s.

• Computer Management dialog box will appear. Now on the left hand side, under the Storage category, click on Device Management.

• If there is any unpartitioned space, you will see a box, in the column of 'Disk 0', in which it will written unallocated (see the image below).

• Right click on it, then click on create partition or whatever like this appears.
• Then a partition creating wizard will appear. Follow the steps (these steps are very simple...just lke installing a PC game).
• After this, you will see that your partition has been created.
